I have a 1980 Celica Sunchaser. It was in a wreck and hit on the driver's side corner of the trunk. It crumpled up one side of the trunk and bent the car like a macaroni noodle. Other than the damage to the trunk and lights it doesn't look bad, the bend is very slight. What I'm wondering is can it be straightened back out? Everyone has been telling me to scrap it because a unibody can't be fixed, but this car is my baby and I don't want to let it go if there is a chance of repairing it. Sad

you have to call a frame shop and ask them.

the main problem besides it being a unibody (you can straighten a unibody on a frame rack) the rag tops are missing the A/B/C pillars so the chassis is inherantly weak.

they braced the chassis when it was converted by bolting some heavy bars to the undercarrige, those may be bent as well.
