Wanted to pick up Doug Thorley header for my 1980 celica st 20R. However the website said it wouldn't fit if I had a 5 speed and hydraulic clutch is this true. Need a header any suggestions? Thanks

Can't see how, since the bellhousings are the same size, and the clutch slave is on the intake side.

I installed a stock 83 exhaust manifold & downpipe (cheapo header) on my bro's 80ST (20R/5spd), so a Thorley should fit.

maybe it depends... ask if they are giving you restrictions for a right or left steering wheel. Because the intake and exhaust are reversed.

it will fit.

the eng/tranny/clutch systems is the exact same for RHD and LHD the only difference is where the clutch/brake master is located.

it would be obscenely expensive to produce a mirror image engine for half the world.
