Does anyone out there know if a brand new battery that has fell over needs replacing? All the liquid acid came out and I believe it was just toped up with water and recharged. I took the battery to an auto electrician to get it tested and he said it was good, and the guys at the DINO shop said it was my computer at fault, which I think is fall of crap, some people told me it was my wiring in my car, which could just be a guess, but my ecu has its own independent wiring to the rest of the car and it functions ok before extra power is sourced from the battery.

But heres the thing I turn my car on it runs smooth, but once the fermo fan comes on the car runs abit rough, then you turn the lights on and the wipers and the car runs like SH*T, some times stalls.

I was thinking about buying a new more expensive battery to resolve this issue, but just wanted to make sure I'm on the right track and I'm not wasting my money.

Regards Jesse

You might test your alternator. I would be skeptical of the battery since you said the acid spilled out, but you said it tested out fine so I would check the alternator next.

did the battery "fall over" in the eng bay?

if so your wiring is prolly covered in acid and rotting away.

i would also check to make sure your battery terminals have a good connection and all the related wires arnt corroded

and check the alt Wink
