Easiest would be the 4AGZE. Or, you can swap in a hybrid. I don't know specifically what parts go where, but you can put the 4AGZE head, intake, sc and such on a 7A block. Supposed to be a pretty nice setup.

I'm also wanting to change out my ST engine for something with alot less miles and has a lot of potential for tuning. I want something like a GT but I'm new to the import world. Please tell me what would fit my tastes while being possible.

[color=cyan]I have a 1990 ST, with a 1.6 liter. I'm not sure what the engine number is. LIke i said, I'm brand new to the import world. My last car was a 1989 formula 350 firebird, so I'm used to the chevy V8. I would like to get alot of horses out of my little celica. I am wanting to do a conversion to a 5spd, but I want an engine that I can heavily modify.

Well, you could put a 3S engine in, but since you already have the the 4A engine in it, if you can gine the 4AGZE out fo the supercharged MR@ of that era, that would be the easiest.

The MR2 huh? That sounds like more of a plan. What years perhaps, or just that general time frame? Anyways, thanx for the advice. I'm steered in more of a direction now.

I have just recently found a 1988-1989 MR2 4AGZE Supercharged Engine. I think this fits your description, and what I'm looking for. Just want your opinion. Thanx. Any info on the info of the tranny for that would be GREATLY appreciated. Found it on eBay by the way.

I have a turbo 3s-ge in the for sale section that will make your car quite quick Smile Should be around 250-300 hp depending on supporting mods and how much boost you put to it.....

88-89 4aGZE from the MR2 is eactly what you are looking for. It will bolt right up to your tranny.
